Most of our adoptable animals are located in Greeneville, TN. Transportation is available to other towns and states. We often transport to VA, NC, SC, GA, CT, NY, NJ and surrounding states.
Please complete this ADOPTION FORM to begin your adoption process. We will reach out to you and then schedule a visit for you to meet your new family member.
Adoption Fees cover some of the animal’s vetting expenses with the rescue and allow us to continue to rescue, rehabilitate, vet and find homes for animals in need.
All adoptions come with a non-breeding and return/buy-back policy should the adoption not work out.

Please familiarize yourself with the “Rule of 3’s” - this is valid for all species/breeds of animals.
Adoption fees help to cover your new pet’s vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter/gelding and routine care (food, farrier, etc.).
The adoption fees are FAR BELOW the cost of services with a private veterinarian.
DOGS
Midnight
Midnight is a 35lb Lab x Pit Mix, 4 year old female. This sweet girl was surrendered as her family could no longer look after her. She is incredibly fun and loving, and is used to being loved by a family and living indoors. She is crate trained, spayed and vaccinated. Midnight learns quickly and really wants to please her people. She knows a number of basic commands and is eager to show them off - especially for a treat!
Molly
Molly is 9 year old female Great Pyrenees. Since arriving at WTFarm, Molly has gained weight and strength, and has learned how to use a doggy door. She is vaccinated, crate trained and gets along with everyone and everything (adults, children, dogs, cats, etc.) Molly does well in a busy home where there is a lot for her to watch over :)
Charlie
Charlie is a 7 year old plot hound who was found on the TN/NC border. He unfortunately does not have a microchip and his finders were not able to locate his family. He is sweet to all the humans, cats and dogs he has met. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Charlie is crate and house trained and loves being near “his” humans. He is around 60lbs.
Fred
Fred is a sweet boy who was found as a stray. His owners were not able to be located so WTFarm is helping another rescue to find a caring home for him. He loves people, but is terrified of “aggressive/assertive gestures” and scurries away. Fred deserves to know the love of a good home. He is neutered, vaccinated, is around 3 years old and is guessed to be a Plott Hound x Pit Mix.
Ranger
Let’s talk about being ADORABLE!!!!
Ranger is a 7 week old Shepherd Mix (we were told Bloodhound but ). He is sweet, confident and loving. Ranger likes everyone and everything! He has had his first set of vaccinations and we are deworming him (the rest of his vetting is on the schedule).

Dunny is an 8/9yo Caramel Dunskin. We’ve been assessing and riding him in different areas and he’s overcome some initial quirks. He prefers the trails to the arena, but will ride on property with a confident rider (more whoa than go in the arena).

Renegade
Renegade (Reggie) is a young pony who thrives under consistent love, attention and positive training. He was a former rodeo horse and is branded.

Sheeba
Sheeba is a pint-sized Standardbred (presumed) and is as sweet on the ground as she is in the saddle. We presume that she’s had a hard Amish life - see the scars on her face and back legs? - but we were able to offer her a safe landing, and hopefully we will be able to offer her a wonderful future with a kid of her own to dote on her! So far we know she is:
* Adorable, sweet, easy going, not mare-ish or girthy, good in a mixed herd (low in the hierarchy)
* Easy to catch, lead and move
* Stands quietly tied to the trailer, to be groomed, lifts her feet, stands to be saddled and mounted
* Easy to communicate with and stop under saddle
We believe she’s around 25+yo

She has been fantastic on the trail and roads, but does not like an arena. She probably pulls a buggy/cart.

Mary
Mary is a chestnut/sorrel, 14.2h quarter horse mare. At ~23 years young, she has been there, done that and would be an excellent candidate for a confident beginner; or someone looking for an easy going horse - but she will test you… she is a bombproof red mare after all ;) Mary is an all-rounder; she rides English or western, arena or trails.

Trixie
Trixie has increasingly come out of her shell and now asks for attention - she’s a great cuddler. She came to WTFarm with her mother and siblings in August 2023 at only 1 week old. She is a short haired calico tortoiseshell and is used to dogs of all breeds and other cats. Trixie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.
Michael
Michael is a 1.5 year old male domestic shorthaired cat. He’s mostly black with a white tuft on his chest. He came with Arielle, Amber and Ben - cats who were dumped and cared for by a neighbor in a nearby town. Michael is neutered, vaccinated and ready to meet his new family.
Arielle
Arielle is a 1 year old female domestic shorthaired cat. She is confident and loving! Arielle arrived with Michael, Amber and Ben - cats who were dumped and cared for by a neighbor in a nearby town. Arielle is spayed, vaccinated and ready to meet her new family.
Shiloh’s Kittens
One of our farrier's barn cats, Shiloh, birthed 5 healthy, adorable kittens in their hay loft and her owner has asked us for help in vetting and placing them. We are human, cat and dog socializing these adorable kittens and it is going really well! The kittens are now spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on their. vaccinations and deworming.
UPDATE: Only 1 female is still available. She is beautiful, friendly and ready for a family of her own! She is now 6 months old.
Shiloh is a well-loved barn cat who is not adoptable and will be spayed before returning to her home.
Shyla
Shyla is a 2 year old lab mix. She is around 45lbs, spayed and vaccinated. Shyla loves to play, loves to run, loves to cuddle, and thinks she is a lap dog. She is scared of most men at first and can be protective of females. She has been great around kids and other animals - both small and small large dogs, cats and ferrets. Halo
Halo is a ~1-2 year old Heeler Mix. She is a sweet, friendly and loving girl. Once she settles in, she is pretty easy going and wants to be with her humans. Halo will be adoptable once her puppy is weaned and she is spayed. She has had her vaccinations, been dewormed and she is house, crate and leash trained.
Angelica
Angelica is Halo’s 8 week old puppy. She is confident, loving and has quite a funny personality. Angelica will be available for adoption once she is weaned and has most of her vaccinations. Her adopter will be required to spay and complete her vaccinations - WTFarm will be able to assist.
Butters
Butters is a 1-2 year old yellow lab. He has a wonderful personality and he LOVES people - he always has to be touching his foster mom! He is spunky and super smart. He knows how to sit, stay, and fetch. He loves to run and play. He does well with other dogs and will thrive with more positive attention and one on one time in a family of his own. Butters is house trained, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated and neutered.
Bear
Bear is a 1 year old Aussie or Collie (we’re guessing) mix. He is as sweet as can be and very curious. He was found emaciated and covered in ticks and fleas. His family was not able to be located, so his finder contacted us. He’s now flea and tick free, is super soft after his bath and ready to gain weight! He’s currently 45lbs. Bear is heartworm and parvo negative, is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. He is crate trained and is doing very well with house breaking. He is cat, dog and everyone he’s met so far, friendly! He is NOT poultry friendly.
Molly

Molly is a sweet people-loving kitten who demands love! She has had her first set of vaccinations and dewormer, and the rest of her vetting is scheduled.
Sally
Sally is a sweet young calico tortoiseshell. She was found in a barn but was not doing well. We are working to put weight on her and she has had her first set of vaccinations and dewormer. She loves people and is very gentle.
Pumpkin
Our Halloween kittens are super sweet, curious and affectionate. They were surrendered to us after they were weaned from their pet mother cat. They will make wonderful family pets.
Pumpkin is social, curious and loving!
He is neutered, microchipped, has been dewormed a number of times and is fully vaccinated.

Zeke
PROJECT - Zeke is a 2 year old John mule who will be Pony Sized (12 hands possibly?)
Zeke will need an experienced mule and training home, or a home that is able to work with a trainer as he is young and confident. He is curious, smart and his mischievous antics usually get us laughing.
Zeke is gelded and up to date on his vaccinations. He is currently in training with us and we periodically post updates to his Facebook Album.
Zeke’s adoption fee is $750

INGELOSI
Ingelosi (Angel in Zulu) is 11.1h and has had a rough start in life. At only 5 years old she has foundered, has a fallen crest, suffered severe sunburns and has carried foals. Barely able to walk a few months ago, Ingelosi has made quite the recovery! She leads well if she trusts you, and should only need a few more trims before her feet are 100% again. She has been with horses, cows, other donkeys, minis and alpacas. She will come with her full mask which she will need to wear daily Spring to Fall to prevent further sunburn and cancer.

Niko
Niko has come a LONG way! He was a loose pen horse, with no history, but all he needed was a soft landing, kind reassurance and food. He is a BEAUTIFUL, kind, loving and willing black, 4 year old Mountain Horse (from his coggins). Niko is currently adoptable as a companion only as although we treated him EPM, we believe he is partially blind, and he may have some neurological side effects. Niko is up to date on all his vetting, dental and farrier needs, and has gained quite a bit of weight. He comes running when you call his name.

Mochi
Sweet, squishy, wiggly, loveable and quickly becoming a favorite! She was pulled from Animal Control but was too interested in her adopters’ cats - we have since worked with her and she is just curious and does not want to harm them. Rather than euthanize her (as the previous owners were advised to do) her family reached out to us. She LOVES toys and human attention. Mochi is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Horatio “Sho”
15h - APPALOOSA x SADDLEBRED - 22yo - GELDING - TRAIL & DRESSAGE - BEGINNER FRIENDLY
Horatio’s owner surrendered him as she has retired from riding due to health issues (75 years old). “Sho” is one of those horses that you put visitors on and head down the trail - or you enjoy yourself for an easy-going ride. He’s been trail ridden all over TN, NC, VA and KY. He rides bitless/in a Hackamore and in front boots. He’s a sweet boy who’s food motivated . He’s been stalled and pasture boarded - no issues either way. Lower in the herd.
He has slowly lost the vision in his left eye over the last year, but the only noticeable effect has been that he turns a little wider to the left so that he can look with his right eye instead. Otherwise you wouldn’t know that he was blind in 1 eye at all!
Multiple people have ridden Sho and can vouch for his soundness and good trail nature.
Tucker
Tucker is a 1 year old ~30lb boy (Chow x small husky x mix?) who is full of love. He is SUPER smart and gets along with everyone (other dogs, cats and people)! Tucker is vaccinated and neutered.
Boone
We can’t decide if Boone is more beautiful or more sweet, but he’s definitely a handsome lovebug! He takes a second to warm up, but then gives the typical lab licks and tail wags - anything for a good body rub! Boone is 6months old and ACK registration eligible. He was surrendered to us as his breeders were unable to find a home for him and have since spayed his mom. Boone is now fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and neutered. He is working on his manners and will do anything to please his humans. He has been great around all other animals he has met.
Cream
Cream is Erika’s male 5 month old kitten. Erika seems to have been abandoned in the area and then birthed her kittens - Cookies and Cream under someone’s house. They are all SUPER friendly and seek out attention.
They are all now spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed multiple times.
Scooby
PROJECT - ~3 year old John Mule - Tall
Scooby has settled in and has started training (he’s making progress daily). This boy is tall, he might be a jumper prospect (want something different in the show ring?) . Scooby looks to other mules for comfort at this time, but also has a playful and curious side to him. He is currently a project, but will be trained until he’s adopted.

BeeBee
BeeBee is a loving, affectionate and adventurous girl. She is putting on weight and is now fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and spayed. BeeBee would love nothing more than a family to snuggle on the sofa with and call her own! House, crate and leash trained. She is dog, cat and all human friendly.
Rosie
Rosie is a smaller Red/Cinnamon Husky (around 40lbs). She is around 3 years old and is a complete LOVEBUG who wants to be with people. She was kept outside on a chain. Rosie walks well on a leash and gives great hugs. She is vaccinated and spayed.
Rosie is NOT cat safe, but is great with all people and dogs.
Erika
Erika seems to have been abandoned in the area and then birthed her kittens - Cookies and Cream (see their adoptable profiles below) under someone’s house. Thankfully she is SUPER friendly and we have been socializing her adorable kittens.
They are all now vaccinated and dewormed. Erika has been spayed as well and is eager to find some humans of her own to love!
Ghost
Ghost is approximately 3 months old and is one of the Halloween litter of kittens. These affectionate kittens were surrendered to us after they were weaned from their pet mother cat. They are loving and curious, and they will make wonderful family pets.
They are neutered, have been dewormed and need a few more vaccinations.
Boo

Jethro
Jethro and McGee are 12 week old brothers who will be adopted together. Thank you to Feline Foster Farm for your partnership as we find homes for cats in need.
They have had 2 sets of vaccinations and dewormings, and they will be neutered before they move into their new home.
